【摘要】:Deformationandstrengthpropertiesaremeasuredonlyonthemasonrybetweenflatjacks.Boundaryeffectsofthecollarjointbehindthewythetestedandadjacentmasonryareneglected.Inthecaseofmulti-wythemasonry,deformabilityisestimatedonlyinthewytheinwhichtheflatjackisinserted.Deformabilityofotherwythesmaybedifferent.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaninsitumethodfordeterminingthedeformationpropertiesofexistingunreinforcedsolid-unitmasonry.Thistestmethodconcernsthemeasurementofin-situmasonrydeformabilitypropertiesinexistingmasonrybyuseofthin,bladder-likeflatjackdevicesthatareinstalledinsawcutmortarjointsinthemasonrywall.Thistestmethodprovidesarelativelynon-destructivemeansofdeterminingmasonryproperties.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
