【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesamethodforcarryingoutanindentationtestonasinglecoatingormulticoatsystemofpaint,varnishorrelatedproduct,usingaBuchholzindentor.Thelengthoftheindentationproducedisindicativeoftheresidualdeformationofthecoating.Thisindentationtestisnotsuitableforproductswhichcontainastrongplasticizer.NOTE1Sincetheindentationtest,likeotherphysicaltestsonpaints,givesresultswhichcanbedependentupontime,temperatureandhumidity,comparableresultswillonlybeobtainedifthetestiscarriedoutunderwell-definedconditions.NOTE2Sincetheindentationdepthdependsuponthefilmthickness,theresultobtainedfortheindentationlengthisonlyvalidifthecoatingthicknessexceedsacertainminimumvalue(seeAnnexA).
