【摘要】:Thisstandardprovidesabasisfor1)Showingthegeneralphysicallocationandarrangementofthesectionsoftherequiredwiringsystem2)IdentifyingthephysicalrequirementsforvarioustypesofmaterialsneededtoprovidetheelectricalinstallationinbuildingsInsomeinstances,thesymbolsmayindicatethefunctionorelectricalcharacteristicsofthesystem;however,thatisnottheirprimarypurpose.Suchfunctionsorcharacteristicsareshownbytheuseofthegraphicsymbolsforelectricaldiagrams,asspeciTedinAmericanNationalStandardY32.2-1970,GraphicSymbolsforElectricalandElectronicsDiagrams(IEEEStd315-1971).Therequiredinstallationisshownonthedrawingbytheuseofthevariousapplicableoutletandequipmentsymbols,togetherwithinterconnectingcircuitorfeederrunlines,supplementedwithnecessarynotations.Ingeneral,basicsymbolshavebeenincludedinthesymbolschedule.Insomeinstances,theuseofnumbersorlettersofthealphabetdrawnin,oratthesideof,thebasicsymboltoidentifyaspeciTcapplicationofthesymbolforaparticulartypeoruseofoutletmayberequired.Insomeinstances,thephysicalorelectricalsizeoftheitemidentiTedbythesymbolwillbenotedtoonesideofit.
