【摘要】:InthisVocabulary,asetofdefinitionsandassociatedtermsisgiven,inEnglishandFrench,forasystemofbasicandgeneralconceptsusedinmetrology,togetherwithconceptdiagramstodemonstratetheirrelations.Additionalinformationisgivenintheformofexamplesandnotesundermanydefinitions.ThisVocabularyismeanttobeacommonreferenceforscientistsandengineers—includingphysicists,chemists,medicalscientists—aswellasforbothteachersandpractitionersinvolvedinplanningorperformingmeasurements,irrespectiveofthelevelofmeasurementuncertaintyandirrespectiveofthefieldofapplication.Itisalsomeanttobeareferenceforgovernmentalandintergovernmentalbodies,tradeassociations,accreditationbodies,regulators,andprofessionalsocieties.Conceptsusedindifferentapproachestodescribingmeasurementarepresentedtogether.ThememberorganizationsoftheJCGMcanselecttheconceptsanddefinitionsinaccordancewiththeirrespectiveterminologies.Nevertheless,thisVocabularyisintendedtopromoteglobalharmonizationofterminologyusedinmetrology.
